The Close Nursery School Banbury

A full inspection by OFSTED on the 10th of June concluded that of the 17 areas for assessment, 7 were “Outstanding” and 10 were “Good” which is an excellent testament to the hard work over the last few years to continually improve the whole setting and experience for the children and their parents and carers.

   The wonderful scores in the Ofsted report are well-deserved; many congratulations! We are particularly pleased to see the Outstanding score awarded to “the extent to which children develop skills for the future” – as we have seen the benefit of this in action. When our daughter left the nursery for Foundation Stage schooling, she was well-prepared for all the educational and social challenges she faced at “big school” – due in no small part to the care, support and teaching she received at The Close. Well done to you all.
